Fremont Unified School District, among other districts in the Bay Area, are closing schools on Thursday, December 11, in anticipation of the biggest storm since 2008.
FUSD has sent out emails, updated their website, and called parents to ensure that students stay safe inside tomorrow and not show up to school.
Students have already taken to Twitter and Facebook to express their excitement for an extra day of rest.
“I [get to] sleep in and [study] for my math test, without having to wake up early in the morning,” junior Katha Korgaonkar said. “I’m very, very happy.”
